A lightweight, portable, dual-grit diamond sharpener with a sliding case that serves as a handle. Featuring an interrupted surface to help avoid build-up, a Micro-Tool Sharpening Pad™ for concentrated sharpening and a fish hook groove. Case is made from ABS.
The protective case doubles as a handle. One side is Coarse 325 grit. The other side is fine 750 grit. Has a lanyard for opening and carrying. This sharpener works. I have used it on knives, axes, fish hooks, shovels, anything that needs sharpening.
Diamond stones may be used with water or dry. Do not use a petroleum-based honing oil on your diamond stone.
The two sided diamond stone slides into the handle for storage. Also has a built in lanyard for easy access and carrying. I have used this sharpener to put an edge on an ax and to take a chip out of a knife edge. It is very useful. It weights only 4.5 oz.
