Custom Daniel Winkler Karen Shook Primitive Style Large Belt Knife
This Custom Hand forged Primitive style Belt knife by Daniel Winkler is a show knife.  Bought at the 2005 Blade show in Atlanta from the maker.  The blade is 5160 carbon steel, the handle is a beautiful laurel burl, and the sheath is hand stitched by Karen Shook using techniques and materials authentic to earlier times.  It is rawhide with decorations. The blade is 8", the knife is 12 3/4" overall.  Daniel and Karen do wonderful work and this is a fine example of their skill and dedication to knifemaking. Price: $1150.00 .
